Hi, Everyone--I am pleased to announce that I am riding in the 2019 Israel Ride.
In November , yes, THIS November, I will be one of the cyclists riding from Jerusalem to Eilat, between 150 and 350 miles, exploring Israel and learning about the work ofn two great organizations, the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and Hazon.
The primary beneficiary of this fundraising ride is The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, which is working to confront the serious environmental challenges in Israel by creating a leadership network of environmentalists through research. The Institute draws students from across the Middle East, encouraging environmental cooperation between peoples and working toward peace and sustainable development on a regional and global scale. To learn more about Arava , check out http://www.arava.org.
The second beneficiary is Hazon, one of the most innovative organizations in the American Jewish communityand now the largest Jewish environmental agency in the U.S. Hazon creates healthier and more sustainable communities in the Jewish world and beyond. Through bike rides, food conferences, and other Jewish programs, Hazon brings people togather, builds communities, and promotes sustainability and a vibrant Jewish life. You can learn more about Hazon at www.hazon.org.
I have committed to raise at least $3950 towards this cause, and your contribution is greatly appreciated. With my sweat and your generosity we can support these 2 worthy causes. Would you consider making a donation at whatever level you are able? All contributions are greatly appreciated. You can donate by credit card by visiting my rider page at http://jewish.convio.net/goto/HollyGreenfield or sending me a check made out to "Friends of the Arava Institute". My address is : 7909 E. 28th Place, Denver, CO 80238.
Thanks for your support!
