I am pleased to announce that I am riding in the 2019 Israel Ride.
This will be my first visit to Israel since leaving in 1987. It's been hard being away so long, but it's what I had to do. So now I am returning with a mission:
I will be riding with a group of cyclists from Jerusalem to Eilat, approximately 275 miles, exploring Israel and learning about the work two great organizations, the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and Hazon.
I have committed to raise at least $3950 towards this cause, and your contribution is greatly appreciated. I gave myself a 25% head-start, but would you consider making a donation at whatever level you are able? All contributions are greatly appreciated. And to better support these organizations, I will match all donations dollar for dollar from my own funds - but my goal is to meet my commitment without my extra match.
This summer I rode STP, the Seattle to Portland Classic (206 miles in 2 days). Check out some pictures from the ride!
Thanks for your support!
