I am excited to announce that I am riding in the 2019 Israel Ride!!
Woo-Hoo!! My sister Nancy and I will be riding from Jerusalem to Eilat, an average of 55 miles a day, which ends up being 276.2 miles, (if we don't poop out and change our group!). As we enjoy the sights and weather of our beautiful homeland, we'll be learning more about the organizations for which we are fundraising. Hazon, the "Jewish lab for sustainability," and the Arava Institute, which uses the world’s environmental resource challenges to build dialogue, cooperation, and trust among people and, in doing so, creates a catalyst for peace. As you know, I am a volunteer for Jewish National Fund-USA, and as the Chair of JNF's Gaza Envelope Task Force, I work with the communities on the volatile border with Gaza. There is nothing more that I want for my brothers and sisters living in the Gaza Envelope than PEACE!! I am inspired to fundraise for the Arava Institute, as bringing Israelis and Arabs together to work for the greater good will benefit all.
I have committed to raise at least $3950 towards this cause, and your contribution is greatly appreciated. Would you consider making a donation at whatever level you are comfortable? All contributions are greatly appreciated. And every dollar makes a difference!!
Thanks for your support!
