I am pleased to announce that I am riding in my 5th Israel Ride. Your assistance is requested.
This fall, I will be joining cyclists from all over the US, Israel, and the world, as we ride our bikes from Jerusalem to Eilat, almost 300 miles, exploring Israel and learning about the work two great organizations, the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and Hazon.

We ride for Peace, we ride for the Environment, we ride in support of Israel.
The Israel Ride is a fundraising event benefiting two innovative organizations
The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies is the premier environmental teaching and research program in the Middle East, preparing future Arab and Jewish leaders to cooperatively solve the region’s environmental challenges. Through its activities, the Arava Institute encourages, fosters, and supports the advancement of environmental cooperation between Israel and its neighbors. Students come from Israel, Jordan, the Palestinian Territories, and other countries.
Hazon works to create a healthier and more sustainable Jewish community and more sustainable world for all. Through a series of retreats, food educational programs, and a growing network of like-minded organizations, Hazon provides transformative experiences and innovated educational programming within the Jewish community. Please explore our causes and learn more about our key partners that make riding the Israel Ride a true passion. I have committed to raise at least $4000 towards this cause, and your contribution is greatly appreciated. Would you consider making a donation at whatever level you are able? I will do all of the pedalling. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your support!
A bicycle ride around the world begins with a single pedal stroke. Peace may also begin with a singular effort.
