I will be one of around 200 cyclists riding through the glorious Negev desert, from Jerusalem to Eilat, next October, 2018, a ride of some 350 miles, over five days of riding, and a fabulous middle of the ride rest day/Shabbat at the Maktesh in Mitzpe Ramon. In five rides, since my first IsraelRide in 2007, I will have raised over $20,000 for two great organizations, the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and Hazon. The work that these two organizations do in the name of a peaceful AND sustainable planet are unmatched.
I have committed to raise over $3,800 this year, and which means I need around 52.77 loving friends that would support my journey in the amount of $72 (4 x Chai/Life). Since this is my fifth ride, I might even go so far as to suggest five x Chai/Life= $90! I lovingly request your help in my journey, any amount of support would be so greatly appreciated! This year, I will be riding with two friends, not old, just young enough to be my age (and in great shape!), with whom I was last with in Israel during that historic summer of 1972, Richard Slutzky and Michael Krigel. I have now shared this odyssey with my best friend son, and my two other best friends. The Source has indeed blessed me !
Thank you for your support!
