I am pleased to announce that I am riding in the 2019 Israel Ride.
Cyclists will be riding from Jerusalem to Red Sea, between 150 and 350 miles, exploring Israel and learning about the work two great organizations, the Arava Institute for Environmental Studies and Hazon.
The Arava Institute is one of the few places where Israeli Jews and Arab Muslims and Christians can get together to study, live, fellowship and grow. And they are working on one of the biggest issues we face in the future - the crisis of water. During the ride we will get to spend some time at the institute and I am very much looking forward to it.
As many of you know, my mom passed away in 2018 unexpectedly, and the last trip she had booked (that she never got to take) was to Israel. I am grateful for the opportunity to take this ride with her from Jerusalem to the Red Sea, to create new memories, and work to build the kind of world she was always working towards. I would love your support towards this effort.
I have committed to raise at least $3950 towards this cause, and your contribution is greatly appreciated. Would you consider making a donation at whatever level you are able? All contributions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your support!
