Team Romemu is excited to announce that we are riding in the 2016 Hazon New York Ride over Labor Day Weekend! The Ride raises funds to directly support healthier and more sustainable communities in the Jewish world and beyond.
We will be biking over two days to raise money and bring awareness to this important work. Our goal is to raise $2,200 by Labor Day and we would be incredibly grateful for your support. All contributions are greatly appreciated and fully tax-deductible.
Over the past fifteen years, Hazon Rides have contributed over $2.5 million in support of the Jewish outdoor, food, and environmental education (JOFEE) movement. Programs of Hazon that directly benefit from the New York Ride & Retreat include:
Food programs: This includes a 70+ site Community Supported Agriculture network, an annual Food Conference, regional Food Festivals, and food curricula
Adamah: A three-month leadership training program for young adults in their 20s and 30s that integrates organic farming, sustainable living, Jewish learning, community building, and spiritual practice
Teva: The foremost Jewish environmental education institute in North America, provides a non-denominational education for the Jewish community. Working with Jewish day schools, congregational schools, synagogues, summer camps, and youth groups, Teva programs touch the lives of 6,000 participants annually
Thank you so much for your support!
