2019 Lisa Anne Botnick Teen Scholarship

Do you love food? Whether it is through cooking, eating, or growing food that brings you joy, the Hazon Food Conference is the place for you! Join us, August 14 - 18, 2019 to learn from world-class experts including chefs, farmers, activists, artists, and community leaders in 90+ classes, demos, and hands-on workshops. We will explore topics related to food security, social justice, sustainable agriculture, and Jewish culinary traditions.

Through the generous support of a donor, Hazon is pleased to offer up to two full scholarships to the 2019 Hazon Food Conference, covering program fees and housing expenses, to teens between the ages of 13-17.

Teens are encouraged to participate in the Hazon Food Conference along with their families or parent/guardians. If the participant is 16 or 17, they may attend the Food Conference without a parent or guardian, provided they can get to and from the Food Conference on their own, submit a signed parental release waiver, and check in daily with the designated Hazon staff person. Younger participants must attend the conference with a parent or guardian.
